Oasis + Carthage

DAY 1: AIRPORT - HOTEL 

• Assistance upon arrival at the airport.
• Transfer to the Carlton 3* hotel or similar in the capital for accommodation (dinner not included). Located on the main avenue. Close to numerous restaurants.

DAY 2: TUNIS - CARTHAGE - SIDI BOU SAID - SOUSSE / EL JEM

• Breakfast. 
• Departure to the mythical Carthage, a city that once competed with Rome itself. There will be a panoramic tour of the Punic ports and a visit to the Baths of Antoninus Pius. UNESCO World Heritage Site. 
• Lunch in La Goulette. 
• Free time in Sidi Bou Said, picturesque village of world fame. Called the white and blue paradise. 
• Departure to Sousse or El Jem depending on the time of the year. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Marhaba Palace 5* standard or similar / Dar Ammar 4* respectively.

DAY 3: PORT EL KANTAOUI - EL JEM - MATMATA - DOUZ

• Breakfast.
• Departure to El Jem to visit the best preserved Roman amphitheater which is considered a world heritage by UNESCO.
• We will continue our trip to Matmata, a striking area for its lunar landscapes, to visit a troglodyte house, a typical underground construction.
• Lunch.
• We finish our day in Douz, known as the gateway to the desert and where we will enjoy a camel back ride.
• Dinner and overnight in the 4* hotel.
  

DAY 4: DOUZ - DEBEBCHA - CHOTT EL JERID - TOZEUR - OUNG EL JMEL - TOZEUR

• Breakfast.
• Stop in Debebcha to admire the extraordinary landscape of sandstone rocks.
• Departure to Tozeur, known as "the capital of the Jerid," through the immense salt lake of Chott el Jerid. Thousands of square miles where, if weather conditions permit, we can admire true mirages.
• Lunch.
• Departure towards Oung el Jemel. Where The English Patient was shot and where parts of Star Wars set still remains.
• Dinner and overnight in the 4* hotel or Dar Desert Rose in Nefta (subject to availability).

DAY 5: TOZEUR - MOUNTAIN OASIS - GAFSA - KAIROUAN - PORT EL KANTAOUI

• Breakfast.
• Departure to the Atlas Mountains to visit the mountain oasis landscapes of extraordinary beauty.
• Lunch in Gafsa.
• Departure to Kairouan, the fourth holiest city of Islam, considerate a world heritage by UNESCO. Panoramic tour of the Great Mosque, the most important of the Maghreb, and the possibility of visiting a handmade carpet workshop.
• We end our day in Port el Kantaoui.
• Dinner and overnight at hotel Marhaba Palace 5* standard or similar.

DAYS 6 -7: FREE TIME

• Free days on a half-board basis.
• The areas selected for these free days are in the important city of Sousse. Its medina, the old city, is a World Heritage site and can easily be visited independently. Nearby is Monastir, a beautiful coastal city with major attractions, which can be easily reached by the metro located next to the medina of Sousse.
• Nights not included in the price from 06/01 to 10/24/25.
• Possibility of extension at the beach.

DAY 8: HOTEL - AIRPORT

• Transfer to the airport.

• A 30% deposit is required via bank transfer to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due in cash to your guide on the first day of the tour (with a 5% discount) or by bank transfer one month before the trip.
• Reduction for children between 8 - 12 sharing a room with 2 adults.
• Private tour. In case of group travel (always very small number), must be informed in advance.
• The order of the itinerary can vary depending on schedule of visits.
• In case of change of hotel, the category will be equal or superior.
• Dinner on the first day and breakfast on the last depending on flight schedules.
• Programs can be modified according to customer preferences or days available for the holidays.
• Departures will always be early in the morning to take advantage of sunlight.
