DAY 1: AIRPORT - HOTEL

• Assistance on arrival at the airport.
• Transfer to hotel Marhaba 4* / Marhaba 5*.
  
  

DAY 2: KAIROUAN - SOUSSE

• Breakfast and departure for Kairouan, the most important holy city in North Africa and the fourth in the world after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1988.  Visit the Great Mosque (the first in the Maghreb), the Aghlabid pond and the Barber's Mausoleum. Option to visit the area's most notable craft, tapestry making.
• Continue to Sousse.
• Lunch (not included) and free time to explore the medina, the old city where the souks are located. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1988.
• Accommodation and dinner at the selected hotel.

DAY 3: EL JEM - MONASTIR - SOUSSE

• Breakfast and departure to the village of El Jem to visit its impressive amphitheatre, one of the best preserved in the world and which can be visited in its entirety. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
• Lunch on your own.
• Departure to Monastir to visit the exceptional mausoleum of Habib Bourguiba, Tunisia's first president.
• Visit to the Ribat, an ancient fortress. The oldest and most important in the Maghreb.
• Dinner and accommodation at the selected hotel.

DAY 4: OUDNA - NABEUL - HAMMAMET - SOUSSE 

• After breakfast, departure to Oudna to visit the archaeological site of the Roman city of Uthina.
• Continuation to Nabeul, an outstanding producer of ceramics. Visit of a workshop.
• Departure to the village of Hammamet. Free time for lunch (not included) and to discover the Medina and the exterior of its imposing fortress, a military work used for coastal defense.
• Return to Sousse.
• Accommodation and dinner. Hotel Hasdrubal 4*.

DAY 5:  TESTOUR - DOUGGA - SOUSSE 

• Breakfast and departure to  Testour, village of Andalusian origin. Panoramic tour of the famous clock of the Great Mosque.
• Lunch.
• Keeping on to the ruins of Dougga (Thugga, WH UNESCO 1997) to visit what are widely considered to be the best preserved ruins in all of Tunisia. In addition to Roman and Byzantine structures, Dougga also has a pre-Carthaginian mausoleum. The town was actually uninhabited until the 1950’s when the locals were relocated down the road to Nouvelle Dougga in an effort to preserve the ruins.
• Return to Sousse.
• Accommodation and dinner. 

DAY 6 TUNIS - CARTHAGE - SIDI BOU SAID - SOUSSE

• Breakfast and departure to Tunis.
  
• Visit to the Bardo Tunisia’s National Museum (except mondays) with its archaeological collections including the world’s largest one on Roman polychrome mosaics. It is housed in a 19th century Beylical palace.
• Departure to the ancient city of Carthage founded by a Phoenician princess, visiting Byrsa hill with its vestiges of Carthaginian and Roman buildings, and the Antonine Baths, a huge Roman bath complex on the edge of the Mediterranean.
  
• Lunch (not included).
• Visit to Sidi Bou Said, andalous village, for a stroll through its narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses with blue shutters and doors.
  
• Return to Sousse.
• Accommodation and dinner. 

DAY 7: FREE DAY

• Free day in half board.

DAY 8: HOTEL - AIRPORT 

• Departure to the airport.
