Even if not having visited before, Tunisia is more popular than anybody could think thanks to the films. Its characteristics makes it a perfect scenery to shoot all types of movies. That is why in the last few years a hundred of movies have immortalized its desert, and some other locations.

This country´s desert has appeared in lots of unforgettable films such as The Life of Brian, Raiders of the Lost Ark, the English Patient, or Star Wars, some of the sets of this last one being still posible to visit.

DAY 1: AIRPORT - HOTEL 

• Arrival to the airport, assistance and transfer to the Golf Residence hotel 4* in Port el Kantaoui.
• Dinner , depending on the arrival time and acommodation. 

DAY 2: SOUSSE - EL JEM - GABES - DJERBA - MATMATA

• Breakfast.
• D eparture towards the roman amphitheater "The Jem", the best preserved in the world.
• Visit to the spice market in Gabes.
• Lunch in Djerba (beverages not incluided). 
• Visit to Ajim, where the cantine in which Luke met Han Solo is located.
  
• Continuation towards Matmata.
  
• Visit to the troglodyte hotel Sidi Driss, tipical bereber construction dug out below ground. The house of Luke Skywalker´s family.
  
• Acommodation in the Diar el Berber hotel 4*.
• Dinner .

DAY 3: MATMATA - TATAOUINE - KSAR GHILANE

• Breakfast.
• Visit to Tataouine. Georges Lucas was inspired by its name for the planet Tatoine.
• Lunch.
• Continuation towards Ksar Ghilane and acommodation in the Pansea or Paradis camp 3* (this last one not recomended for those who prefer being confortable). They are not hotels.
• Dinner .

DAY 4: KSAR GHILANE - DOUZ - CHOTT EL JERID - TOZEUR

• Breakfast.
• Visit to Douz. Posibility to ride a dromedary (optional).
  
• Departure towards the salt lake "Chott el Jerid", where numerous films have been shot.
  
• Lunch.
  
• Visit to the canyon of Sidi Bouhlel, known as "Star Wars´ Canyon". Also where Indiana Jones was shot.
  
• Acommodation in the Mouradi Tozeur hotel 4*.
  
• Tipical Tunisian dinner in a haima with a folk show. Optional.

DAY 5: TOZEUR - OUNG EL JEMEL - MOUNTAIN OASIS  - TAMERZA

• Breakfast.
• Departure towards Oung el Jemel. Where The English patient was shot and where part of the set of Star Wars still remain.
• Lunch.
• Visit to the mountain oasis of Chebika, Tamerza and Midés, filming locations and inspiration for filmakers.
• Acommodation and dinner in the Tamerza Palace hotel.

DAY 6: TAMERZA - LEZARD ROUGE - GAFSA - KAIROUAN - PORT EL KANTAOUI

• Breakfast.
• Tour to the Lezard Rouge train.
  
• Lunch in Gafsa. 
• Visit of Kairouan, set as The Cairo city for the filming of Indiana Jones.
• Acommodation and dinner in the Golf residence hotel 4*.

DAY 7: FREE DAY

• Beakfast and dinner in the hotel.
• Free day. In Sousse there is the Medina, where The Life of Brian was shot. World heritage in 1988.

DAY 8: HOTEL - AIRPORT 

• Breakfast.
• Transfer to the airport.
