DAY 1: AIRPORT - HOTEL

Upon arrival at the airport by your guide assistance.
Transfer and overnight at the Hotel Dar Said in the beautiful village of Sidi Bou Saïd.

DAY 2: TUNIS - CARTHAGE - SIDI BOU SAID - ZAGHOUAN

After breakfast, visit the Bardo Museum. This is the oldest and largest museums in Tunisia. It was laid out, that more than a century, within the precincts of a palace Bey, built in the most part to the mid-nineteenth century and which still bears the pomp of a princely residence.
Visit the great Tunis Medina (declared World Heritage by UNESCO since 1979).
After lunch at the Tunisian cuisine restaurant (1/2 water) Dar El Jeld (or Essaraya) in the heart of the Medina, to continue the discovery of Sidi Bou Said, the Archaeological Park of the Antonine Baths at Carthage (WH 1979 UNESCO ).
Continue to the National Park Jebel Zaghouan.
Installation and dinner in Dar Zaghouan cottage where you will have the opportunity to live the rural traditions in an authentic setting.

DAY 3: ZAGHOUAN - THUBURBO MAJUS - DOUGGA - ZAGHOUAN

Day dedicated to two main archaeological cities:

After breakfast visit the ancient Roman Thuburbo Majus. The fourth largest archaeological city with a vast territory that has not yet been fully excavated.
Visit the great city of Dougga (Thugga, WH UNESCO 1997), the best preserved ruins in North Africa.
Lunch at the hotel Thugga.
Give back to Zaghouan for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: ZAGHOUAN - KAIROUAN - GAFSA - TOZEUR

After breakfast departure to Kairouan, the most important holy city in northern Africa and the fourth in the world. (WH UNESCO 1988). Visit the Great Mosque, the first in the Maghreb, the pond of aglabides and the Mausoleum of Barbier.
Lunch at the Kasbah 5 * hotel.
Continue to the oasis of Tozeur, the capital of the area.
Overnight at the hotel de charme Dar Saida Beya.
Relaxation session in the hammam.
Dinner.

DAY 5: TOZEUR - MOUNTAIN OASIS /CHEBIKA/TAMERZA & MIDES - TOZEUR

Breakfast.
Visit the mountain oasis of Chebika, Tamerza and Mides.
Return to Tozeur for lunch at haima in the oasis.
Buggy ride to see the oasis.
Visit of "corbeille" Nefta, an amazing oasis composed of thousands of palm trees.
Continue to the Oung el Jemel, a special place was the setting dunes in films like "The English Patient," "Star Wars" or "Black Gold".
Dinner and overnight at the hotel de charme Dar Saida Beya.
Ability to attend a folkloric dinner (optional).

DAY 6: TOZEUR - CHOTT EL JERID - DOUZ - BIR SOLTANE - KSAR GHILANE

Breakfast.
Departure to Douz crossing the vast salt lake of Chott el Jerid, thousands of square miles where, if weather conditions permit, you can see the phenomenon of mirage.
Arrival to Douz, known as the gateway to the desert and a meeting of the nomads. Visit your market.
After lunch at the 4 * Hotel Mouradi Douz departure to Ksar Ghilane, an oasis in the heart of the Sahara next to a hot spring.
Accommodation at the camp Yadis - Pansea. The tents are very comfortable. Possibility of a camel riding tour (optional).

DAY 7: KSAR GHILANE - MATMATA - EL JEM - SOUSSE - HERGLA

Breakfast.
Departure to Matmata, characterized by its lunar landscape. Visit a typical housing area called Cave and dug in the ground.
Lunch at the Hotel Tamaris (1/2 water).
Visit to El Jem Roman amphitheater extraordinary. (WH UNESCO 1979).
Continuation to Sousse. Free time in Medina, (WH UNESCO 1988).
Dinner and overnight at a guest house, Dar Khadija. A lovely house in the heart of the old part of town Hergla.
